Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls: Final Fantasy 1 DoS Solo Assist Gameboy Advance

Final Fantasy 1 is a game that has a lot of ways to play it. Including solo parties. But it's so annoying to get into a fight and pray the enemy kills your useless characters off before they do too much damage to your main character. And it takes way too long to do.

So why not just start the other characters off with no health so you can get straight to the fun part? That's what these patches do. Start with any class you want having 0 HP so that they can never be revived and can never take any actions or be targeted.

Apply the patch(es) that coincides with the class you will NOT be using and then start your run. Simple? Simple.

Version 1.1 Oops. At least one of the patches overwrote at least some of the other info in the ROM, thus negating the intention to not mess with anything beyond the HP of one class.

Version 1.2 The author swear this fixes the problem. Honest. They hope...

Version 1.3 Guess what?

Final Fantasy 1 Dawn of Souls Solo Patch

Ever want to run a solo? It can be so difficult or time consuming (honestly both) to get
the enemies to kill your other party members before your main character has to heal or
worse yet gets killed.

Solution? Make everybody but your solo character dead from the beginning!

This patch will cause the class you picked to start with 0 HP. You'll never have to kill
them and they can't be revived or interacted with. If you want a variety in your corpses
just install multiple patches. Make sure you don't accidentally pick the class you want.

These patches can be installed over other patches as they only reduce starting HP and do
nothing else.

I have yet to test what happens if you install the patch and then pick a party solely of
that class, but I'm sure it won't end well.

In my testing, this causes the dead party members to stand there in their low HP stance
until they get hit by a target all attack (in my case Ink from Kraken).

This can also be used to make duo or trio parties obviously.
