Mega Man 3: Megaman 3 Ridley X VS Gamma Nintendo Entertainment System

This is actually a combination of two hacks with a little extra in between.

Ridley X is known for making a lot of Megaman hacks, but not known for making hacks with new music. This uses Ridley X's hack as a base, but adds the music from DulfarC's Battle of Gamma. In addition to this...

* Some stages have been tweaked and edited with different enemies.
* A "brand new" stage.
* The Robot Master rematches are skipped.

Credit to DulfarC for the music.

[Introduction]

Thank you for downloading Plint Michigan/MugoUrth's addendum. I would just like to say that creating this addendum was not that easy. Besides re-working the level data from Battle of Gamma, I had to fix quite a bit of data, such as enemy tiles, room tiles, placements, and more.

This hack is not fully mine. The music was created by DulfarC from his hack Battle of Gamma. The hack itself was created by Ridley X. All I did was splice the two together. The point of this addendum is to create a more fresh feel for Ridley X's hack by giving it new music. ...But if you have already played Battle of Gamma, you might already know what the music is like. So basically this is a combination of BoG's music, and Ridley X's stages.

The main idea for this addendum came from playing Top Man's stage in Ridley X's hack. The stage uses a night time version of Air Man's graphics. Coupling this with the fact that Top Man's theme from Battle of Gamma just happen's to be Air Man's theme from the game-boy version of Megaman 2, I went from there. Most of the levels do fit the new music, as well.

[Changes from Ridley X's hack]

1: The music for starters.
2: Battle of Gamma's pallet bank has given Ridley X's stages a slight tweak in colors.
3: Some enemies in Snake Man's stage were changed. In one part of the original hack, there is an area with pole-vaulters and dragonflies. Upon patching Ridley X's hack to a reworked Revenge of Gamma, I noticed that there was no selection of tiles in the enemy tile bank containing both Pole-Vaulters and Dragonflies, so I replaced the dragonflies with bombers.
4: Enemies changed in Spark Man's stage as well.
5: Originally in Magnet Man's stage, there was an area with disappearing blocks. The data for the disappearing blocks is irretreavable, so it has been replaced with a new puzzle that requires the Rush Coil.
6: In Needle Man's Doc-Bot stage, there are 16 sectors. In order to rework levels of 14 sectors or more, I have to delete sectors in order to add data. However, if I delete sectors, I cannot re-add the 16th sector. So, the stage is missing a sector. In adition, the room before the Crash Man Doc Bot is designed to work around a glitch I could no remove.
7: Wily's 3rd stage is now the Glitch Room.
8: You re-fight a Doc-Bot instead of your clone.
9: The rematches are skipped.

[Known Bugs]

1: The eyes on the giant snakes in Snake Man's stage appear on the body instead of the head. I am unsure how to fix this, as even if I place the eye correctly, I still get this error.
2: Sometimes a boss fight does not start right away. If this happens, go left till you can't go any further, and the fight should start.
3: When you fight Proto-Man in Magnet Man's stage, Magnet Man's theme changes to Spark Man's theme. As well, when you fight him in Shadow Man's stage, it changes to Snake Man's theme.
4: When fighting Gemini man after a loss, another enemy may constantly respawn throughout your entire fight, which will slow the game down during the fight, but does not effect the battle itself.
5: Needle Man's Doc-Bot stage is particularly glitchy. The exit door to the AirMan Doc-Bot fight is openable at any time, meaning that you can skip the Air Man battle, which you're more likely to find out by accident than on purpose.
6: In addition, the giant Metools in Needle Man's Doc Bot stage do not spawn properly, so they are replaced by hopper droids.
7: Here's a big one. Like Snake Man and Gemini Man, CrashMan Doc Bot may not start right away, but going towards the door will not help this time. The hallway before the doc-bot is designed to get around this problem, as it forces you to step backward and trigger a falling glitch figure, which in turn causes the Doc-Bot fight to run normally.
8: Because the program I used will not allow me to edit Wily's 3rd stage except for its rooms, it is pretty much a glitched up mess. However, through careful editing, the stage is playable.

These are the bugs I could not fix. Regardless, you should still be able to enjoy the game. Please let me know if you find more bugs than these.
