Darkstalkers 3: Darkstalkers 3 - Uncensored Hack

This hack restores some elements that were changed in the western versions of Darkstalkers 3.

The changes are as follows:

v1.0
- The color of blood in combat changes from white to red.
- The color of Jedah character's blood changes from purple to red.
- The color of blood on Perfect Torment's stage changes from green to red.
- The word "Down" appears when defeating a character (except in the last round).
- In J.Talbain's ending the name "John" is changed to "Jon".
- In Hsien-Ko's ending the name "Lei Lei" is changed to "Mei-Ling".

v1.1
- A graphical error in the special gauges has been fixed (Thanks to Enmanuel E. Pérez for report).

This patch is confirmed to work on real, modified PlayStation consoles.

1. Introduction

This hack restores some elements that were changed in the western versions of Darkstalkers 3.

2. How to aply the patch.

The patch is in ".ppf" format.

You'll need a ppf patcher like "ppf-o-matic3" to aply it.
