Final Fantasy III: Invisible Zombie

If an enemy gains Zombie status, the game handles it by showing the normal death animation and making the enemy untargetable, as though it died. However, like Zombified characters, they are still able to attack targets on the field. This may confuse players in the sense that a Zombified enemy that has somehow become invisible is attacking them. This patch will stop all attacks from Zombified enemies.

ALL PATCHES WORK ON VERSION 1.0 OR 1.1.

URGENCY:
Low. In fact, shortly after release, this patch was downgraded to a tweak rather than a bug fix.

PURPOSE:
There are a few ways, although rather rare, for an enemy to become Zombified. They include Rippler (which exchanges Zombie status), Sketch (which may copy a Zombification ability) and Control (which may be used to activate such an ability). If an enemy is Zombified, they will of course be treated as "dead" for the purposes of the battle ending, and will disappear...but will still be able to attack you. This patch remedies this illogical behaviour.
